Finals Week?!?!?
It's actually kind of hard to believe that besides for one group project and homework for computer science, finals are all that stand between me and what I feel is a well deserved break. This semester has been every bit as challenging as I joked that I would be over the summer (I was in denial), but somehow I'm survived it in basically one piece (knock on wood). And although many tears were shed and I was pushed almost to my breaking point several points, I'm really proud with what I've accomplished this semester. My choice to make computer science a major instead of a minor happened kind of on a whim sometime before orientation and now, 18 months later, it's a choice that I still stand fully behind and I definitely feel more connected to the Computer Science Department than I do with the Math Department. As for math, well it went just about as well as I hoped this semester. 301 was really challenging at times, but I found myself enjoying pretty much all of it. I'm still kind of terrified for the final but as long as I get around the class average I should be fine overall for the class. As far as Spanish, I'm going to pass and I've spent entirely too much time worrying about my other classes to care a ton about my Spanish grade. One more lecture and a final and then I don't ever have to take a Spanish class again!!!!
I probably won't think about writing again before the end of the semester so I just wanted to take a second to thank everyone who has helped me get through the wild ride of the past three months. I know that I've sounded like a broken record and have probably complained so much more than was necessary. I apologize if that's been annoying at all, but everyone I've talked (okay, complained) to has been so supportive and I don't think I could have gotten through this semester without some encouragement. Shout out especially to my dearest roommate who struggled through 301 and 341 with me and never got annoyed at me (or at least never showed it). We're almost there Kayla! You've been a great support, roommate and friend and I couldn't ask for more. Love you <3
Anyway, I should probably start studying or something :P
Until next time.
