Boring Time...
Well it's gotten to the point of the semester that I can barely pay attention in the classes that I love, let alone the classes I don't. I'm not sure why this happens every semester but I'm just getting bored with everything. There are something like 5 weeks in the semester and while I still love being at school and being around my friends, I am so ready for these classes to be over. Maybe the issue is spring break, because this happens far more often in spring semester. Granted, I didn't really enjoy going to any of my classes last semester, but I had a legitimate reason for that. This is just burn out and I'm really annoyed that it's happening.
This week has just kind of happened. There are definitely times where I have enjoyed myself, but I've kind of been stuck in a monotonous drudge recently. I feel like every time I write I'm in one of these funks, but trust me, there are weeks were I have actual high points and low points, this week just wasn't one of them. It's really only my own fault though, because I haven't tried to really do anything to fix it. I'm just ready to be done classes.
(Side note: I wrote that on Thursday and Friday. It is now Monday and I am attempting to finish this post up)
I guess that one of the high points of the past couple weeks is that I've gotten to spend a lot of time with my friends. I spent so much time in ITE last week and most of that was because I knew that I would see several friends that I don't see outside of ITE. It was a lot of fun though and spending time there is great because most of us just suffer together and it's a very supportive environment for me to homework. I've also taken the effort to hang out with some of my friends from InterVarsity lately. I really enjoy this because IV people get me in a way that a lot of people don't. So although the past couple weeks has been kind of meh, it's made me appreciate the people in my life even more and I am so thankful for all of the friends that I have made in the past year.
This post is kind of a mess, but oh well.
